Seatbelt Law Enforcement

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration’s (NHSTA) “Click it or Ticket” campaign launched this week and will last through June 5. Thousands of law enforcement agencies nationwide will be monitoring traffic and issuing tickets this week and over Memorial Day weekend as part of the initiative. Enforcement will include both checkpoints and increased patrols, greatly intensifying enforcement of seat belt and child restraint laws.
